Processing for astrophotography is difficult . This is probably the best i’m going to get from this set of source files – looks like I was at ISO 3200 which caused way too much noise.
This Christmas im thinking…. first telescope? A telescope allows you to get i a lot closer and target specific galaxies, aswell as provide auto guiding abilities to your camera – which cuts down on the amount of stacking and post processing that is necessary. The real reason you have to stack at all with a camera is because long exposures of more than 15 seconds cause star trails. (which are cool but not my goal here)
