Police: Shoplifter returns for more
A man is accused of trying to steal two TVs from a Davenport Walmart, wearing the coat he stole from the store two days earlier, police said.
Hudson D. Harris, 57, of Davenport was caught about 5 p.m. Wednesday, trying to push a shopping cart with the TVs out of the store at 3101 W. Kimberly Road without paying, according to an affidavit signed by Davenport police officer Bobby Flaherty.
Harris attempted the alleged theft while wearing a coat he stole from the store Monday, the affidavit said.
The two TVs and coat have a combined value of $808.63.
