“Spiritual Message of Goodwill” Shuts Down Happiest Place on Earth

Disneyland was shut down for several hours today due to the presence of a “suspicious object.” That object turned out to be a scroll with a peaceful message for park guests. Disneyland spokesperson Suzi Brown explains, “People can’t do this. We take it seriously.”There is no information on what the scroll says, except that it is a “spiritual message of goodwill.” And it may have felt like divine intervention to the guests who entered early. Those already inside were forced to stay put and enjoy a relatively empty theme park, until it opened to the public at 11 a.m.
