$1B of TSA Nude Body Scanners Made Worthless By Blog — How Anyone Can Get Anything Past The Scanners « TSA Out of Our Pants!

This video is here to demonstrate that the TSA’s insistence that the nude body scanner program is effective and necessary is nothing but a fraud, just like their claims that the program is safe (radiation what?) and non-invasive (nude pictures who?). The scanners are now effectively worthless, as anyone can beat them with virtually no effort. The TSA has been provided this video in advance of it being made public to give them an opportunity to turn off the scanners and revert to the metal detectors. I personally believe they now have no choice but to turn them off.

Please share this video with your family, friends, and most importantly, elected officials in federal government. Make sure they understand that your vote is contingent on them fixing the abuse that 200,000 passengers face from the TSA on a daily basis.

My legal battle against the TSA’s nude body scanner and pat-down molestation program continues in court, soon with a petition to the U.S. Supreme Court. If you’d like to donate to this effort, send PayPal to: jon [at] fourtentech.com

Apple Unveils New iPad With 4G LTE, Retina Display | News & Opinion | PCMag.com

Apple on Wednesday unveiled a new iPad complete with a Retina Display, quad-core GPU, 4G LTE, and an improved camera.

The updated iPad will hit stores on March 16.

With 4G LTE, the new tablet will provide up to 73 Mbps download speeds, Apple said. Partners include Verizon, Rogers, Bell, Telus, and AT&T, and optional software can turn your tablet into a personal hotspot for up to five devices.

The iSight camera includes a 5-megapixel camera, advanced optics with an IR filter, autofocus and white balance, and face detection. It has the optic system included in the iPhone 4S and will support 1080p video recording.

The new iPad will run the rumored A5X processor, which will provide quad-core graphics. Apple claimed this chip will provide four times the performance of the Tegra 3.

The revamped tablet will also include a 2048-by-1536 display, which Apple said is the most ever in a mobile device.

When you turn on that new iPad you are going to see graphics text, icons sharper than you can imagine, they’re just beautiful, Apple’s Phil Schiller said during a press event in San Francisco today.

The updated iPad will also include voice dictation. You can type or just tap it, speak into your iPad, and it’ll type what you have to say, Apple’s Tim Cook said.

It will support U.S., U.K., and Australian English, French, German and Japanese voice dictation.

Apple promised 10 hours of battery life on the new iPad; 9 hours on 4G – the same it promised for 3G.

The tablet comes in at 9.4mm and 1.4 pounds, and will be available in black and white.

‘Seinfeld’ Actor Daniel Von Bargen Hospitalized After Suicide Attempt – iVillage

leave a comment »

Actor Daniel von Bargen is in critical condition after shooting himself in the head in an apparent suicide attempt. The actor, who played George Costanza’s (Jason Alexander) boss Mr. Kruger during the final seasons of Seinfeld, called 911 after he survived a self-inflicted shot to the temple on Monday morning.

“I’ve shot myself in the head but it didn’t work… I need help,” Von Bargen, 61, says in the recorded 911 call, obtained by TMZ.

When asked if the shooting was an accident, Von Bargen told the operator that he did it deliberately to avoid going to the hospital for an amputation procedure.

“They were going to amputate at least a few toes,” said Von Bargen, who reportedly suffers from severe diabetes. “I’ve already had one leg amputated… I’m tired.”
